On Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, Adams Elementary staff and students greeted Spokane Public Schools, Spokane Parks and Recreation, and City of Spokane leaders for a press conference to thank Spokane voters for their support of Together Spokane, an SPS bond and Parks levy that will allow improvements to schools, parks, and neighborhoods throughout our city.
“First and foremost, we want to thank our community and our voters for extending their trust in what is truly going to be a generational investment in our community, for us to be together and to be active and to really showcase all the best qualities of Spokane,” shared SPS Superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard.
Watch the event:
The first project to break ground will be a replacement of Adams with a building that improves accessibility, functionality, efficiency, and security for the southwest Spokane school community.
The Boys & Girls Club of Spokane County has also committed capital funding and programming to the Adams rebuild, which will allow the organization to expand their after-school support services to families in the Lincoln Heights and Southgate neighborhoods.
We look forward to sharing progress and details about all 200+ projects at TogetherSpokane.org in collaboration with our community.
