Middle school students seated at tables with laptops for a coding competition.

Three hundred middle school students from across Eastern Washington gathered at Spokane Community College last week for the STEM Superstar Competition — a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and hard work.

Students tested their skills in six competitions: Robotics, Coding with Minecraft, Healthcare Practices, CO2 Cars, Graphic Design, and Photography. Each event challenged them to think critically, solve real-world problems, and showcase what they've worked toward throughout the school year.

This annual competition is centered on sharing ideas, learning from one another, and inspiring the next generation of innovators, showing middle schoolers that the skills they're building today have real power to change the future.

Congratulations to every student, teacher, and supporter who made this competition possible!
