Student-led tours at middle and high schools.

Making the jump to a new school level — elementary to middle or middle to high — can feel overwhelming for students. That’s why, in the spring, our fifth grade students visit their future middle school and eighth graders get to shadow current students at their high school.

“We are looking to make them less nervous and more excited about this transition,” said Glover Middle School assistant principal Heidi Hayes.

We tagged along with Willard students as they were greeted by Glover’s Falcon Crew, and joined Shaw students who got to be a “Pirate for a Day” at Rogers High School.

Thanks to Emrys, Gabby, Ms. Stacy, Ms. Hayes, Olive, and Nellie for sharing about the day of connection!
