SPS families can now sign up for your Launch Conference(s) at spokaneschools.org/conferences.
Launch Conferences mostly happen on Aug. 25 and 25, but some groups will have conferences on additional days:
Grades 1-12: Aug. 24 and 25
Kindergarten: Aug. 24, 25 and 26
All-day Preschool: Aug. 24, 25 and 26
AM Preschool: Aug. 24 and 26
PM Preschool: Aug. 25 and 27
Launch Conferences allow families and students to meet their teachers, ask questions, and get important information on a variety of topics. Conferences are 25 minutes, but families should plan on spending additional time at their school if they have other back-to-school business to address.
Important: All students from preschool to seniors in high school will have conferences. However, the following groups will not use the Launch Conference Scheduler, as these schools and teachers will reach out directly to schedule Launch Conferences:
Ruben Trejo Dual Language Academy students in grades 5-8
Bryant/TEC students
Spokane Virtual Learning students
Multilingual families that need interpreter services
In addition, some elementary schools will schedule kindergarten launch conferences themselves, and those families will not be able to use the conference scheduler. If that is you, your school will communicate that information directly.
