Andrew Lewis was an assistant principal for 10 years at Ferris High School when an opportunity to become Hamblen Elementary School’s principal presented itself just a mile away.
“Several people reached out to me that I had not talked to about making a switch and just said, ‘You're going to go for the Hamblen position?’” Mr. Lewis recalled. “This is a good sign that there are other people who are saying that this seems like a good space for you.”
