Visitors to Rogers High School may have noticed a new, colorful crosswalk design on Pittsburgh at Wellesley.
Current Rogers senior Haydin Brown was selected through a Spokane Arts contest last year to design the art installation as part of the Asphalt Art project, which brings public art installations to streets, enriching local neighborhoods while providing a traffic calming solution.
Haydin received a $500 prize for her design featuring a Pirate ship. We love to see our students’ creativity on display!
