Ethiopia

Third graders learned about the life of students in Ethiopia through community partners Mark and Kim Lewis at Southside Church. Students learned that while life is different in Ethiopia, they have a lot more in common than they thought. They like chips and soda and play games on their phones too! Adams students then cut and prepared materials for animal puppets for Ethiopian students to create when Mark and Kim visit this fall. Upon their return, our students will learn about their visit and how the students enjoyed the puppets. Our hope is to become penpals with our new friends across the globe!
