Attention Parents and/or Guardians:
We will be holding our traditional outdoor “Field Day” on Friday, June 13 for all students at Browne Elementary once again this year. This event promotes fun, excitement, and participation. Field Day is a day set aside to celebrate the end of another successful school year. We can’t believe how fast it has gone, and plans are underway for this special day.
Field Day offers an assortment of activities for student participation. Activities range from tug of war, bowling, water balloon toss, soccer shoot and dribbling, target throw and many more fun activities. As a culminating final activity for our Field Day this year, while the students are outside eating their popsicles around 2:30pm, Fire Station 16 will be at Browne doing some “Water Spray Time Fun” with their fire hoses. Parents are encouraged to send a pair of dry clothes and/or a towel just in case their son/daughter decides to participate in this activity and get wet.
At this time, we are looking for some awesome Volunteers to help over-see and run these fun and exciting stations. The students and staff would love to have your assistance with stations and student interaction. Field Day has been scheduled for Friday, June 13 and we will have two sessions: Session 1 – 9:30-11:00 for K - 2nd grade students and Session 2 – 1:00-2:30 for 3rd - 5th grade students.
If you are available to help at either session, please click the following link and fill in your information: https://forms.office.com/r/FZDaezuSkr OR please go to the following QR Code below and fill in your information.
Our Fitness-Health teacher, Mr. Seedall (Mr. S.) will contact all those that sign up to volunteer so he can share more details about how he needs you to help during your Field Day session(s).
