Spokane Public Schools and LaunchNW invite all area families to Winterfest at Riverfront Park on January 30, 2026, from 9AM to 2PM.
Come explore and enjoy a day packed with free fun, learning, and community connections. No-cost opportunities to Engage in Real Life include:
Pavillion Activities: Meet local youth-serving organizations, discover out-of-school programs, and enjoy engaging games and activities.
Ice Skating: Glide around 650 feet of ice at the Numerica Skate Ribbon.
Loof Carousel: Take a spin on this beloved historic attraction with nearly 60 hand-carved wooden creatures and try your luck at the interactive ring toss.
Mobius Discovery Center: Discover hands-on exhibits that make learning come alive for kids of all ages.

Attend a creative conversation and Q&A with members of Disney's The Lion Kind North American tour at the First Interstates Center for the Arts on Jan. 30 from 10-11 AM. This event is free to attend.
Guests will learn about the groundbreaking musical's iconic music and puppetry and hear from cast members. Students and families must register to attend. The Lion King will play at the First Interstate Center for the Arts Jan. 28- Feb. 15, 2026.
