Trombone. Cross country. Chickens.
One of these hobbies is a bit unusual for an eighth grader, but the most lucrative for Chase Middle School's Forrest Harder, who has sold about 60 dozen eggs from his backyard chickens to school staff.
The eighth grader was recently recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit by the Chase Youth Commission with a Chase Youth Award. This year, Forrest and his schoolmates received seven awards at the annual event to recognize our community’s outstanding youth.
