On Oct. 9, students from dozens of area middle schools came together at Peperzak Middle School for Association of Washington Student Leaders Fall Leadership Day — a day focused on community, collaboration, and learning.
Through hands-on activities and idea-sharing sessions, students explored what it means to lead with purpose, build inclusive school cultures, and make a real impact in their communities. Advisors and student teams spent time getting to know one another and planning ways to bring new energy and fresh ideas back to their schools.
Great collaboration, and great to see leadership students from Chase, Flett, Glover, Shaw and Yasuhara middle schools — as well as Central Valley School District, West Valley School District, Davenport School District, Medical Lake School District, and Chewelah School District middle schoolers — engaging in this unique opportunity!
