The CHAS Health Mobile Dental Clinic brings essential dental care directly to communities, reducing barriers to access services. This year, it will visit different SPS high schools and other school sites every week, providing cleanings and routine dental care on-site.

“Our primary goal here is to keep kids in school,” explained CHAS Health program manager Daniel Trautvetter, noting that the visits are short, so students can access services quickly before getting back into the classroom.

CHAS also provides on-site care for students through four school-based health clinics at Ferris, Rogers, North Central and Shadle Park high schools. Any SPS can access these clinics on weekdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
