Tiger filling out registration

LC Students and Parents,

We would like to share important information about course registration at LC. Throughout the month of January, students received registration information during Advisory classes. On January 26, students were given a registration folder containing important documents that should be kept in a safe place at home, as they will be useful throughout their entire high school career at LC.

On January 12, we launched registration information in Advisory. If you would like information on what was covered in this week’s Advisory, please review the following PowerPointWe will continue to update students and parents each week with important information shared out during Advisory.

New this year: Students will complete registration at home with their parents/guardians. The registration window will be open from February 2 through February 9. On February 2, students and parents will receive a detailed email from their counselor with step-by-step instructions.

Please note that registration is not first come, first serve. This is an important time for students and families to thoughtfully reflect on graduation requirements and select the courses that best support each student’s individual pathway. Our goal is for students to make the best choices for themselves.

After the registration window closes, counselors will continue to support students, including individual meetings with each student as the final step in the process.

Choosing the correct classes is very important, as it helps us best support students and plan our course offerings moving forward. Thank you for your partnership in this important process.
