LATE START MONDAY CHANGE: Starting Sept. 9, students will begin their school day later each Monday, which allows teachers time to work with colleagues around student learning and supports. This year SPM is aligning with the rest of the school district and changing late start Monday to 9:30 AM. Playfield will be open at 9:00 AM on Mondays for early drop off and classes begin promptly at 9:30 AM.
LAUNCH CONFERENCES: Launch Conferences allow students and families to meet their teacher(s), gather information on meals, busing and more, and get a preview of the school year. Students in our Primary and Kindergarten programs received an email on 8/19 with information regarding how to sign-up for their Launch Conferences. For all Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary and Middle School Students, you will be able to sign up for your Launch Conferences by clicking the link after 5:00 PM on 8/19: https://weba.spokaneschools.org/conference
NEW VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS: We love our volunteers! Parent volunteers are such an important part of what makes Spokane Public Montessori special. We are moving to a NEW volunteer application process. ALL VOLUNTEERS are required to complete a new application through the online portal in order to volunteer at the school.
