Spokane Public Schools and the Spokane Public Library system have a longstanding partnership, and all SPS students have a library card with their student ID number.
How to Log In
Log in here. Your library card number is 27413081 + your student ID number. Your PIN is your birthday (MM/DD) unless you change it in your account.
From there, you can access the "Library of Things." In addition to tons of books, kids can use their library card to reserve things like cooking items, gardening tools, musical instruments and lots more.
Here's a rundown of what else students and families can access at their local public library branch:
Board game nights
There are a variety of board games you can check out! Before you buy one from the store, check the catalog for games like One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Catan, Monopoly, Ticket to Ride, and so many more.
Have a cook off or bake off with friends or family
Use the 12-cup silicone muffin pan to make amazing pumpkin spice muffins or the spring cookie cutters. The library has some great cookbooks to help you with your recipes.
Play, hike, and explore the outdoors
Play some croquet, pickleball, volleyball, or basketball all with items from the library’s collection. You don’t need to pay extra to use a gym, just borrow an item and play all day! For some water sports, you can even check out a stand-up paddle board or a Discover Pass to check out our local state parks.
eBooks & Audiobooks
Download the Libby app and access the library’s collection of eBooks, audiobooks, and eMagazines! You can listen to audiobooks while you do homework or stream eBooks on your Kindle or phone while you ride the bus.
Read Comic Books without a wait with Comics Plus!
Access thousands of graphic novels, comic books, and manga for kids and teens!
Did you know you can check out 500 physical books, movies, and CDs at one time?
That’s right! Whether you want to read all of the manga novels we have or check out Taylor Swift’s entire repertoire on CD, you can check them all out at once. If you are assigned a book for your English class, you don’t have to buy it – borrow it from the library!
Build elementary math skills, prepare for the SAT, and more using Learning Express
Learning Express from EBSCO is a one-stop shop for test prep, skill building, and career resources so you can feel prepared for that next step in your learning journey. For elementary and middle school students, there are practice courses in English and math. For high school students, you can practice for important exams like the ACT®, SAT®, and AP® Tests. There are also materials translated into Spanish.
