Blazer Buddies! In just a few short months, Blazer Buddies has proven to be a tremendous success. Fifth-grade students, who have participated in ELD for at least three years, met weekly with second-grade multilingual learners in Mrs. Ward’s class to provide literacy support, engage in meaningful conversation, and—most importantly—build supportive, trusting relationships.
The program has been mutually beneficial: the older students developed greater confidence in their language abilities and leadership skills, while the second graders made significant progress in their English proficiency, contributing to greater success in the classroom.
We’re excited to continue building on this momentum and look forward to expanding the "Blazer Buddies" program in the coming school year!

Celebrating our cultural diversity! Be sure to check out the vibrant new display in our Multipurpose Room! We've added a beautiful collection of flags representing the 18 countries—and counting—that reflect the rich cultural backgrounds of our Mullan Road students. This colorful tribute is a celebration of the diversity that makes our school community so special. Stop by today and join us in honoring the many cultures that come together at Mullan Road!

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS). Mullan Road Elementary is committed to recognizing and celebrating the success of our students, both individually and as a class in a variety of ways.... Each month, we recognize two students from each classroom who shine in one our "Character Strong" traits. We celebrate classes modeling the Trailblazer way with weekly 3-Star lunches with our Principal, Mr. Beal. Older students help guide our younger students in the Trailblazer way by revisiting expectations each quarter. Trailblazer tickets, which can be used to buy rewards, are earned by being kind, being safe and being your best self! Golden tickets offer classes an opportunity to collectively work together for classroom rewards.

5th Grade Promotion! Congratulations and good luck in Middle School! We're proud of your hard work and accomplishments so far! It's been incredible watching you learn and grow! Keep up the Trailblazer way as you continue becoming your best selves!

Thank You Fourth Grade Hallway Monitors!!!
A group of our fourth-grade students have stepped up as hallway monitors this school year, and we couldn’t be prouder! These dedicated Trailblazers arrived early each morning to help direct students during breakfast and model the Trailblazer Way—being kind, being safe, and being your best self—throughout the halls.
Their leadership, initiative, and sense of responsibility helped make Mullan Road a welcoming and well-organized place for everyone. Thank you, hallway monitors, for setting a great example and showing the way!

Thank you Peperzak 7th Grade Leadership Students!!!
This year, Mrs. Kirkpatrick's 7th grade leadership class from Peperzak MS has taken an active role in building the next generation of student leaders through a powerful mentorship program with Mullan Road Elementary. These students have not only guided younger peers but also deepened their own understanding of what it means to lead with purpose and integrity. They've modeled servant leadership in our lunchroom and on our playground, helping to break down stereotypes, practice compassion, refine public speaking, and simply have fun with our Trailblazers! We APPRECIATE these thoughtful, empathetic leaders and wish them continued success on their path to continued leadership. THANK YOU for making a difference here at Mullan Road... and modeling how to become your best selves!
