This week, 177 Spokane-area high school seniors were recognized for their academic excellence. Thirty-one of them were Spokane Public Schools students. Of those students, nine received a combined $32,000 in financial awards for their exceptional achievement from Spokane Scholars Foundation.
Ferris’ Sally Peterson, Jessica Morozov, and Brayden Martin received the top prize of $5,000 for their outstanding work in English, Fine Arts, and Science, respectively, as did Lewis and Clark’s John Ko in World Languages.
