At its regular meeting last night, the Spokane Public School Board of Directors approved a resolution placing a three-year Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) levy on the Nov. 3, 2026, ballot.
The levy would replace the current levy, which was approved by voters in 2024 and will expire at the end of 2027, allowing SPS to maintain programs, services, and opportunities for students that are not fully funded by the state.
Levy dollars support essential student services, academic programs and staff, technology, athletics, arts, music, clubs, and other activities that contribute to a well-rounded educational experience. Visit Spokane Schools Levy to learn more.
In the coming months, we will host public forums for residents to learn more and ask questions about the replacement levy.
