Hit the mat with Rogers High School Girls Wrestling coach Whitney Bowerman as she warms up and encourages athletes before a meet against Clarkston earlier this week.
Coach Bowerman – Rogers Class of 2005 – taught at her alma mater for 9 years before becoming the wrestling coach in 2019. Under her direction, girls’ wrestling has grown in achievement and size with two state champions in 2023 and a dozen athletes on the Varsity team this year. Way to go, Pirates!
