A view of Ferris High School with information about a Town Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 6–7 PM.

Residents of South Spokane and District 1 are invited to a town hall presentation about Together Spokane. Spokane Public Schools superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard and Spokane Parks and Recreation director Garrett Jones will share information about the joint initiative to improve schools, parks, and neighborhoods.

Proposed projects in South Spokane include a replacement of Adams Elementary School to be co-located with Boys & Girls Club of Spokane County, a major renovation of Grant Park, development of multi-use, all-weather fields, and enhancements to amenities and security across all South Hill parks.

Together Spokane aligns an SPS bond and Parks levy that will be presented to voters on Nov. 4, 2025.

All are welcome to attend this event at Ferris High School on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 6–7 PM. Please note that due to scheduling constraints, all school communities located in District 2, which includes the Lewis and Clark High School feeder pattern community, will meet for a single presentation at Ferris.

A recording of the presentation will be available the following day. Learn more at Together Spokane South.
