Student and Staff Awards
Each month, Spokane Public Schools staff and students are awarded for demonstrating exceptional excellence and a commitment to embodying the spirit of our Engage IRL initiative. Anyone is welcome to fill out a nomination!
Student Engage IRL Award
Once a month during the school year, Superintendent Adam Swinyard will honor one student based on the following attributes:
Profound engagement in their community
Building positive connections
Leading and inspiring others
Accomplishments in activities, clubs, or athletics
Random acts of kindness/awesomeness
Personal improvement
Employee Exceptional Excellence Award
Two SPS employees (one classified and one certificated) will be selected each month based on the following attributes:
Demonstrated leadership
Going above and beyond for students or peers
Random acts of kindness/awesomeness
Profound engagement in their community
Overcoming great odds or obstacles
Inspiring personal accomplishments
Excellent Volunteer Award
Do you know an SPS volunteer deserving of our Excellent Volunteer Award? Nominate them today!
Winners will be selected based on one or more of the following:
Commitment to volunteering in SPS schools
Showing leadership in their volunteer role
Inspiring others to volunteer
Being a champion of SPS schools
