7th Grade Return to School Orientation

Greetings,

 

Chase Middle School is hosting an optional in-person 7th grade orientation this Thursday and Friday. Students assigned to A day will attend February 25th and students assigned to B day will attend February 26th. Students may only attend on their assigned day.

 

Students will arrive at Chase Middle School and find their correct entrance. Each student will show proof of completing the Health Check before entering the building (show phone, note from home, or student ID # to be checked at the door). If a student has not completed the health check, they will be given directions to do so before entering the building. Students will tour the building (classes, library, commons, gym, etc) with WEB and ASB students serving as small group tour guides and then exit out the main entrance to be picked up by parents or bus.

 

A mask must be worn the entire time and social distancing protocols must be followed.

 

Group A Orientation: Thursday, Feb. 25

            Last Name A-F:            1:00 – 1:20

            Last Name G-L:            1:30 – 1:50

            Last Name M-S:           2:00 – 2:20

            Last Name T- Z:           2:30 – 2:50

 

Group B Orientation: Friday, Feb. 26th 

            Last Name A-F:            1:00 – 1:20

            Last Name G-L:            1:30 – 1:50

            Last Name M-S:           2:00 – 2:20

            Last Name T-Z:            2:30 – 2:50

 

If you are unable to attend during your drop-in time by last name you are still welcome to come any time between 1:00 – 3:00 but ONLY on your designated A/B day

 

Only Students will be permitted into the school. We ask that parents wait in the parking lot for students to complete their tour. The tour should take 15-25 minutes.

 

Busing Options:   

Each day (Group A on Thursday and Group B on Friday) there will be two busing locations/times to help with transportation to and from Chase Middle School available for students: 

Sheridan Elementary – 12:50pm Pick-Up  

Lincoln Heights Elementary – 1:50pm Pick-Up 

We suggest arriving 10 minutes prior to pick-up. The bus will return to the elementary school after all students have completed their tour.   

**Each bus will take all students (regardless of last name) at the designated pick up times as long as the student is attending the correct A/B day.
