Chase Middle School has started down a path to transform how we deal with student discipline issues, and more importantly, how we help each student grow into a responsible, self-disciplined adult. We are adopting the Responsibility-Centered Discipline program, which was created by author Larry Thompson and is now being implemented in schools around the country. This program teaches practical techniques to help teachers deescalate confrontations with students, while also enabling teachers to successfully redirect students who need correction.

Please join us Wednesday, August 24 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the cafeteria for a brief presentation by Mr. Thompson explaining how RCD will work at Chase Middle School, as well as tips that you will find helpful when working with your child.  Following the presentation, we will share information about our School Improvement Plan and Title 1 School information.
