In December, national print and digital news organizational Education Week visited six of our schools to learn about Engage IRL, our initiative with LaunchNW to get kids off screens and engaged in real life activities.
Last week, they published three articles exploring how our new cell phone policy limiting use during the school day coincided with an emphasis on participation in school club, sports, the arts and other activities that encourage in-person connection:
