Asbestos Notification

AHERA regulations require Spokane Public Schools to make available an Asbestos Management Plan to all staff, students and community members. If a school or other site does contain asbestos building materials, this plan describes the location of asbestos containing materials and how those materials are being maintained.

Please be assured that all asbestos is either in non-public areas or is well encapsulated or maintained to prevent the release of fibers into the air stream. It will be kept in good condition through regular inspection and maintenance procedures. The Asbestos Management Plan can be found on site, in the head custodian's office.
