Welcome to Longfellow!

  • Dear Longfellow Families,

Longfellow is a special place filled with energetic students and compassionate teachers.  Our staff is constantly working to spark the curiosity of our learners while making the learning fun.  We are also committed to creating a community of learners that will bring the entire school together to meet student needs.

We are proud to be the only school in Spokane Public Schools to utilize the House System. Our House System creates a sense of belonging for staff and students as they participate in a friendly competition throughout the year in an effort to win the House Cup. Students earn House Points for positive behavior, citizenship, leadership, and academic success. Last year's champion, the blue house of Reveur, won the first ever Longfellow House Cup!

Our Parent Teacher Group (PTG) is active and provides many engaging activities for students each month.  There is a series of movie nights, a game night, school carnival and field trips that they sponsor.  The second Tuesday of each month the PTG meets at 6:00 PM to discuss the yearlong plan and budget for the school.  Several fund raising activities occur each year to support their work.

Longfellow always looks forward to meeting you and partnering together to make each year the best year ever for your student(s)!  Go Panthers!!!!
