Welcome to Indian Trail!

  • Dear Indian Trail Families,

This year promises to be an exciting learning experience for your child. After the long summer break, we are thrilled to see our students return and also to meet and welcome students and families who are new to Indian Trail this year.

Our goal is to work together with families to ensure that each child is successful academically while enjoying school at the same time. Spokane Public Schools has adopted a rigorous academic curriculum at each grade level, and our teachers use research proven instructional strategies to help each child reach the Common Core State Standards for each grade level. In addition, we value the whole child and we provide real-life learning experiences that develop positive social skills and develop citizenship. Making friends and getting along with others are as important to a child’s success and happiness as reading and math.

We recognize the six traits of character (Respect, Citizenship, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Trustworthiness) with our Mustang Treasure Chest slips. We proactively teach students why positive behavior benefits everyone.

We invite you to arrange a visit to your child’s classroom to join them for lunch, or to attend one of our special programs. If you would like to be a volunteer helper, we encourage you to call (354-3100) or visit our school.

We look forward to seeing you!
