This week, Shaw's football players are meeting on the gridiron under the lights of ONE Spokane Stadium in what is sure to be a memorable experience.
Before kickoff on Thursday, here are some important pieces of information so we can ensure a smooth and efficient evening.
How much does it cost to attend?
Nothing! Middle school football games do not charge admissions.
What should I bring into the stadium?
Appropriate clothing and your school spirit!
What can I NOT bring into the stadium?
ONE Spokane Stadium has a strict clear bag policy. Please review the stadium’s clear bag rules. School backpacks will not be allowed.
Other prohibited items include:
• Outside food or drink
• Umbrellas
• Strollers
• ....and more
Will concessions be available?
Yes, but all concession stands are cashless. All major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
Where should I park, and what does it cost?
If you want to park for free, you must park in Lot C (the old Value Village lot) and display this parking pass. Please print the parking pass and place it on your dashboard. If you cannot print a parking pass, please stop by your school’s main office and ask for one.
Parking in Lot C without displaying the parking pass could lead to a parking ticket.
All other surrounding lots are paid.
In addition, Spokane Transit Route 11 conveniently stops right across the street, ensuring quick access between downtown and the stadium. Route 4 also services the stadium just a couple of blocks to the west, while Routes 27 and 28 stop on N Washington St. To plan your trip from home or your hotel to the stadium, visit spokanetransit.com/trip.
Where is the stadium entrance?
Spectators will enter the northwest corner of the stadium. This is across the street from KXLY’s studios and closest to Howard Street and the Spokane Arena.
All guests will be required to enter through walk-through metal detectors. Please leave ALL weapons at home, including firearms, knives, and/or wallet chains.
Can I drop off my elementary or middle school-aged students and pick them up after the game?
No. For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or trusted adult.
Can I meet my athlete on the field or in the locker room after the game?
No. The field is only accessible to athletes, coaches, game officials, cheer squads, select SPS staff, and other game day operations staff. The locker room is only accessible to players and coaches.
