Student Voice Group

Meet the AMAZING 5th Grade Student Voice Group composed of thirteen students from all three of our 5th grade classrooms. 

This group will have the opportunity to share their voices through celebrations, concerns and wonderings each month with Mrs. Anderson (Principal) and Ms. Wetzel (School Counselor). 

Tuesday, 10/31 was the first meeting and the three focus questions included:

• What are you looking forward to this year?
• How easy is it to approach adults in our building?
• What are you worried about this year and/or the future?

Here are a few responses we received from our student representatives:

• "I have been looking forward to being a 5th grader because little kids look up to us!"
• "Adults are everywhere and approachable."
• "I am nervous for Middle School."

We will continue to share feedback with teachers and families and work to make sure our students are heard, valued and represented in our building and community!
