Student Expectations

Respect                Mutual respect is the foundation for our classroom culture. Following our class rule is an easy choice you can make to be successful in class and in life.

Be Prepared      You should come to class every day with your homework, pen or pencil, and journal ready to work hard and learn! If you are unable to get school supplies, see me privately and I will make sure you get what you need to be successful.

Come to Class   I expect all students to be in class every day. Students who miss school miss out!  If you do miss class, you are responsible for completing all missed classwork and homework. On the day you return from an absence, check the Assignment Calendar to see what we did when you were gone, then find missing assignments filed in the assignment file. If you have questions or need help, speak with me before or after class.

Behavior             I have a three Strike system:

• Strike one: verbal reminder
• Strike two: Private conversation outside of class
• Strike three: parent contact/referral
