    Clubs and Extra Curricular Opportunities 2022-23

  • Tennis - Participants practice at Hart Field under the supervision of Amber Eastham- 354-5470  TUESDAY & THURSDAY only from 3:30-5:30 pm- Start date is Tuesday, September 20th

    Drill Team Club (Year Long Activity)- Under the supervision of  Erika Leland - Informational Meeting at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, October 6th in Room 117 Tryouts are scheduled for early October

    Photography Club-  Canon Rebel T7 DSLR camera and Adobe Premiere Pro under the supervision of Heather Montgomery 354-5431 Begins October 25th through January 30th every Tuesday, 3:30-4:30

    Thunderbird Chinese Club This club will provide students opportunities to explore and understand Chinese cultures, arts and crafts, etc. Hands on experience including T-shirt design (year of the Tiger), Chinese paper cutting, Dragon Design, Chinese Movies. This club is under the supervision of Yvonne Quigley Begins on October 19th on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 through December 14th- and then starts again on April 12-May 31st

    Show Choir- Winter- Under the supervision of Jen Pearman - 354-5430 Begins iJanuary 3rd and meets T, W, Thursday for 6 weeks

    Community Club    Celebrate, explore, and connect with the community club as we create together to build community.  Celebrate diversity and learn about ourselves and others. We are committed to creating a community of support, dignity, knowledge and action. Under the supervision of Nami Meier- 354-5459 and Connie Knipprath -354-5473 Meets every other Tuesday and Friday's at lunch- First meeting is November 8th

    Art Club- Celebrating our artistic talents. We meet after school in room 121 on Tuesday's beginning February 7th with an occassional Wednesday. 3:30-4:30. For more information contact Zig Pavey. We will offer a section on using the app, PRoCreate. Bring your expertise to share with others who have the app downloaded and already practice. Learn new animation tips and tricks   

    Building Club- Design and Building Club- Come learn how to use hand tools and create fun wood projects. Contact Kim Taylor Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 beginning February 15th

    Voices of Thunder-   Are you a GUY who likes to sing? Want to meet other guys who like singing and performing? Want to learn to sing fun songs? Sign up for Voices of Thunder under the supervision of Jennifer Pearman First meeting November 2nd from 3:30-4:30

    Homework Club- This club is in Final Forms but Counselors/Administrators will add students. Limited capacity ONLY for students who want to take advantage of this opportunity. Any student who wants to attend this club should email their counselor and grade level administrator: 7th- Greg Smith and Asheley Schraeder or 8th- Tiara Thomas and Veronica Steele   

    7th Grade Card Club- 7th Grade lunch only in Mr. Farley's room. Contact Justin Farley Monday, Wednesday and Friday at lunch
