Ben Bruggemeier is the December Employee of the Month. Ben led the Veteran's Day Con, USO Swing Dance, worked the Homecoming Dance, and his groups have performed at all cons and home football and basketball games. Congratulations for being named the December Teacher of the Month.

For more than 45 years, the Ferris P.T.G. has organized a one-of-a-kind fund-raising event for the benefit of Ferris school programs. The Ferris Saxons Tennis team is selling a team jacket as a fundraiser to purchase uniforms and to be able to travel to outside tournaments.

Jake Sanders is the Science department's student of the month; he is an honors student who has managed the recycling program at Ferris on his own accord.
Joe Ritchie is the Fitness and Health's student of the month; he is a hard worker and a kind student who can be trusted with any responsibility that is assigned to him.

Recycle it! The annual Senior All Nighter Tree Recycling takes place Saturdays and Sundays, January 3 & 4, and 10 & 11 from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Cost is a $5 donation to drop off your tree or a $15 donation for pick up. Trees may be dropped off at Ferris High School in the west parking lot, by Regal Street. Senior citizens have a discounted requested donation of only $10. Call 999-5186 to schedule a pickup. Also, seniors can earn Saxon bucks by helping out in this worthwhile project.
