Auto Maintenance & Repair

The NEWTech Automotive Technology program allows customers to arrange appointments to bring their cars in to be serviced. Our program covers four major areas: brakes, electrical, engine performance, and steering/suspension. 

To arrange an appointment, contact our office at 509.354.7470. Services offered are on a case-by-case basis, but limited to maintenance and basic repair in areas the students have learned about in class. Pricing for customer work is a $10 shop fee plus the cost of parts/supplies required.

Please note:

• Customers having their vehicles serviced by our Automotive Technology Program must agree to grant permission to the student(s) selected to perform repair(s) on their vehicle to operate, inspect, and to undertake and complete repairs needed to the vehicle. Customers must also agree to hold NEWTech Skill Center and Spokane Public Schools, its students, agents, and employees free and harmless from all liability resulting from services performed or for loss or damage to the vehicle or articles in case of fire, theft, accident, or any other cause beyond our control.
• No time limit is established for the repairs to be completed, and there is no guarantee that services and repairs will be completed. If services and repairs are not completed, the owner will be responsible for removing the vehicle from the campus.
• NEWTech Skill Center and Spokane Public Schools, its students, agents, and employees in no way guarantee the repair work and hereby disclaim any warranty, whether express or implied, regarding auto repairs performed or undertaken.
• On completion of repairs or upon request, the vehicle must be removed from the premises within 10 days after notification; otherwise, it will be towed away at the owner’s expense.
