• NEWTech Enrollment Application Instructions

    Failing to follow all the instructions below will impeade our ability to review your application for placement.

    Register for a NEWTech Enrollment Application Account

    1. Go to https://newtech.smapply.io/
    2. Click on the green Register button
    3.  3. Enter the Student’s First and last Name in the Name Fields  (not the guardian's name)

    4. Enter an email address
                 An email will be sent to this address for verification
                 Please note Gmail accounts tend to block communication from our Application Portal – if possible, please do not use a Gmail address.
    5. Open the verification email from noreply@mail.smapply.net and verify you account
    6. Go to NEWTech 2024-25 Registration Portal (smapply.io) and click on the Log In button
    7. Click on the green More button
    8. Click on Apply
    9. Under Tasks click on Request Recommendation and follow the instructions below

    To submit a recommendation request:

    1. Click on the green Request a Recommendation button at the bottom of this page
    2. Type in you name in the first and last name fields
    3. Cut and paste your counselor's email address into the counselor email field
    4. In the message box, please let your counselor know which NEWTech program(s) you are applying for and your shift preference (AM or PM or Either)
    5. Click on the green Submit Request button
    6. Click on the green Mark as Complete button at the bottom of the page
    7. Click on the Application Form button on the left side of the screen
    8. Follow the instructions below

    To submit an application

    1. Answer the questions on the application
    2. On the last page click on the Mark as Complete button
    3. Click on the green Submit button
