Support HEART

  • The HEART Program serves SPS students in temporary, transitional, or homeless living situations. The program strives to get students all that they need to fully participate in school successfully.

The HEART Trust account helps pay for things above and beyond a student's basic educational needs – like tickets to dances, yearbooks and clothing.

Make a donation here by selecting “HEART Program Donations” from the dropdown menu.

    HEART Gift Drive - Nov. 15 - Dec. 11

Every winter, SPS collects donations of gift cards to distribute to HEART students who are unaccompanied youths - students who are not in the physical custody of a legal parent/guardian.

With gift cards, HEART students can purchase a variety of items of their choosing. HEART staff enjoy matching up students with gift cards, knowing their interests and needs, to provide them with extra support and care, especially during winter break.

We accept any gift card in any amount! Big-box store gift cards – where students purchase anything from groceries to clothes – are especially appreciated.

Drop off or mail gift cards to:

    SPS Administration
    200 N. Bernard St., Spokane WA, 99201
    c/o Communications Dept.

You can also drop off gift cards at any of our 57 school building offices.

Help us spread the word with the 2023 HEART Gift Drive flyer.
