It is the mission of the John R. Rogers High School Counseling Staff to create an environment which provides all students the skills necessary to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally.  On-time graduation and college and career ready transcripts are our expectations for all students. College and career ready transcripts provide students eligibility for entrance into the military, a technical program, a two-year college, or a four year university.  Opportunities will be provided for students to meet school and state standards as they progress towards their post-high school goals. Counselors, in collaboration with administrators, teachers, parents, and the community, will promote student growth and success in all areas of life.

Counselors at John R. Rogers High School are assigned by grade level.  Students will be assigned a counselor in the 9th grade and will stay with that counselor through graduation.  We encourage you to click on your couselor's name above to access their contact information: Google Voice for calls and texting during school closure, Calendly to schedule an appointment, and access links to additional resources.
