TEAM Pilates Barre, Yoga & Gyrotonic Method
Angelie is a Master Teacher at TEAM Pilates. She begain studying Pilates in 1988 due to severe Scoliosis. As a result of her practice, she has enjoyed a successful career as a Professional Ballet Dancer and is still surgery free today. She currently holds the highest degree of National Cerification in the Pilates Industry, and is a Certified Personal Trainer. She travels around the world conducting teacher trainings in numerous different specialties.
At the Shadle Camp, Angelie gave an information-packed workshop on several topics:
- Pre-game & practice stretching - (Buddy stretch video will be posted soon)
- Proper knee placement for safe & powerful jumps
- KT taping for injuries
- Diet & hydration
- She also took questions about injuries and offered suggestions for exercises & areas to strengthen.

The Shadle Park Girls Basketball Program will be dedicating time throughout the season to educating ourselves about injury prevention. We believe that this is an important part of athletic participation and safety.
Some areas we will focus on include:
- Strength/Weight training
- Attitude/Mental Game & focus
We will be utilizing the knowledge and services of our in house Athletic Trainer - Lindsy Shelton, as well as guest speakers & other fitness professionals.
