Optional Payroll Deductions

  • The District offers employees voluntary automatic payroll deductions for the following programs:

    SPS Foundation

The goal of SPS Foundation is to empower teachers and students by funding innovative, creative and hands-on learning opportunities in the classroom. Your donation to SPSF is an investment in enhanced student engagement and learning.

SUPPORT: Download the sign-up packet and return it to Payroll & Benefits.

    Citizens for Spokane Schools

Citizens for Spokane Schools (Yes for Kids) is a volunteer group of supporters for Spokane Public Schools. Their goal is to ensure that all students receive the funding necessary to provide them a well-rounded education that prepares them for their life goals, generally through support of the district's educational program levies.

SUPPORT: Download the Monthly Payroll Deduction Form and return it to Payroll & Benefits.

    United Way

Workplace campaigns provide the opportunity for employees in corporations, nonprofits, and local, federal, and state government to come together in support of Spokane County United Way.  Each year, more than 600 local businesses and organizations provide their employees an opportunity to give, with the availability to set aside a gift amount of their choosing from their paycheck.

SPS participates in an annual pledge drive to benefit the United Way. For additional information about the pledge drive, email Sandra Jarrard, executive director of Communications.
