Greetings Riverhawks!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the more than three weeks left of summer. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we wanted to take a moment to share some important dates and information with you.

First, for bus-eligible riders, please remember that bus registration is now open, and routes will be finalized mid-August based on registration. If you haven’t already registered your student for the bus, please do so as soon as possible.
We are excited to announce that our launch conferences will be held on August 31st and September 1st. Families will receive important information during these conferences, including their class schedule. Sign-ups for these conferences will begin in mid-August, so keep an eye out for an email from SPS with more information on how to sign-up for a time slot. Sixth grade families, we have a special opportunity just for your student on WEDNESDAY, AUGEST 30TH FROM 4:30-6:00. More information will be coming about this event at Flett for students.

The first day of school is September 5th at 9:00 AM. Arrival time on campus begins at 8:40—please help your student arrive between 8:40-and 8:55 daily. Attendance is one of the most important factors in helping your child be successful at school. Based on data from prior years, we know that students who miss more than a few days of school are impacted academically. Please make a commitment to daily attendance and set a goal of perfect attendance this year!

Our first late start date is September 11th. Classes will begin at 10:00 AM with breakfast being served at 9:40 AM.

Finally, please look out for an email regarding fall sports sign-ups and information regarding sports physicals (FinalForms). We hope to have our full calendar of sports opportunities posted on our website soon. We plan to offer even more extra-curricular opportunities this year!
