SIXTH GRADE ORIENTATION – 8/15/23

Greetings parents and guardians and new 6th grade students!

Welcome to Flett Middle School! We are excited to have you as the newest members of the Riverhawk family. We would like to invite you, as a new student, to our 6th grade orientation on WEDNESDAY, AUGEST 30TH FROM 4:30-6:00.

Orientation is an opportunity for our new students to learn more about our school, meet staff, get to more familiar with the layout of the building, and most importantly meet their classmates. Each student will receive their neighborhood and advisory assignment at orientation. Students will know exactly where to go on the first day of school. Their full schedule will be shared at student/parent launch conferences.

Flett Orientation is focused on our students. If you have a concern that you wish to resolve or discuss before school starts, please contact your student’s counselor or our Flett administration.  We will have information that will hopefully address all your questions at launch conferences.

Please continue to follow Flett Middle School on social media and check the email address you have registered in Power School, our student information system. During launch conferences, we’ll help all parents get access to the Power School application to help with attendance, grades, and more.

We can hardly wait to see students on 8/30 for orientation. Let the journey begin!
