In order to achieve our goal, we are committed to working daily as a school community to ensure that EVERY student is CHALLENGED, SUPPORTED, and CARED FOR in all three phases of student life - Academically, Socially, and Emotionally - in the process of becoming the BEST version of themselves.
As a School Counseling Team, we believe ALL STUDENTS

- Have have the capacity to learn and be supported academically, socially, and emotionally
- Can develop the skills necessary for academic success, personal growth, positive interpersonal skills, and to create an individualized High School and Beyond Plan

The Shadle Park High School Counseling Program
- Is planned and coordinated by state-certified, masters degree level school counselors in collaboration with other representatives of the school community
- Engages students in classroom, group and individual activities to enhance student learning
- Provides the opprtunity for academic, college and career, and personal/social development for all students
- Uses data to identify student needs and develop program goals to meet these needs
- Collaborates with community, parents, and other school representatives as a team to deliver program services effectively and efficiently
