  • 8th Grade Shadle Park High School Tour

    - Our future 8th graders will be touring the school on Tuesday, May 28, 9:30 - 11:30. Permission slips have gone out with students and with parents via email. No forms will be accepted after Thursday, May 23rd. We will have a place for students staying behind from the tour.

  • Nurse's Day

  • Spread the Love Fundraiser

    - March 18th - 29th

  • SFMEA Choir Festival

    - Our choir students will be at the SFMEA Choir Festival at Mead High School for most of the day. Good luck students!

    - We will be testing in English classes March 18th - 22nd. Please try to have kids to school on time and schedule appointments for other times. Thank you!

    - Our dormant oil spray will be applied to trees and shrubs on Wednesday, March 13th. Please stay away from these areas for 24 hours.

  • Honor Roll Dance

    - Friday, Feb 23rd
    5:30pm - 7:00pm
    Instead of an honor roll ceremony, we'll be having a dance. This event is only for students who ended first semester with a GPA of 3.5 or above. Students have been notified. They will receive a certificate, bumper sticker, and bracelet for getting into the dance.

  • 8th Grade Picture

    - The 8th grade picture will be taken on Thursday, February 29th at 12:45. Please try to not pull 8th grade students out around that time for appointments, etc. Thank you!

  • 8th Grade Basketball and Wrestling Start

    - It's National School Counselor Appreciation Week! We are so fortunate to have the best school counselors in the district.     - Salk is proud to partner with Four Roots Farms for a FREE food distribution on Monday, December 18th 3:00-5:00 in the Salk parking lot.   • Honor Roll Assembly

    - We'll be celebrating out students who earned a 3.5 gpa or above during second semester last year. This celebration will take place Thursday, September 29th in the gym. 7th graders will gather at 1:45, and 8th graders will gather at 2:40. Parents are welcome to take their kids with them right after the assembly. You should have received an email and/or phone call to let you know your student made the honor roll.
