2024 Summer Session: June 24th - August 2nd
Spokane Virtual Learning offers limited need-based scholarships for summer school on a first come, first served basis. The requirements to apply for the scholarship are below:
- The student must be currently registered at a Spokane Public Schools high school.
- Scholarship can only be applied to one high school graduation-required course taken in the summer session.
- The student can request the scholarship application from their high school counselor and turn in a physical copy along with the proof of need (see below) to The Hive at 2904 E. Sprague Ave, 99202 ~OR~ request that their counselor email the completed form and proof of need to: teresag@spokaneschools.org
Items need for scholarship consideration:
- A completed and signed SVL 2024 Scholarship Application (see you counselor for this form)
- Acceptable proof of need for (one of the following):
- Photocopy of Free and/or Reduced Lunch Welcome Letter from Nutrition Services (a replacement of the letter may be obtained from Nutrition Services by calling 509.354.7270 or online at Nutrition Services' Website)
- Court document verifying State Dependency.
- H.E.A.R.T. program participation verification.
Scholarship packets must be received by April 30th.
On May 1, any unclaimed scholarships for your school will be opened to those waitlisted.
